Sarah is the owner of Lunar Infusions Kombucha, where she gets to share her passion and love for brewing kombucha with the world. Bottles of her home-made elixir will be for sale: $15/32 oz (with $5 rebate on bottle), $9/16 oz (with $4 rebate on bottle). No need to enroll, just show up!
What is Kombucha?
Kombucha is a probiotic-rich, fermented tea that is thought to originate from China in 221 BC, during the Tsin Dynasty. This “Tea of Immortality” is made by sweetening tea with sugar and adding the kombucha culture, called SCOBY (Symbiotic Colony Of Bacteria and Yeast). This culture, which contains the bacteria and yeast responsible for the alchemy of the ancient elixir, produces a range of healthy organic acids, vitamins, amino acids, enzymes and probiotics as it digests the sugar.
Kombucha has many health benefits if consumed daily, which include: supporting your immune system, fighting infection and illness, improving energy levels and mental health, and helping with allergies, arthritis and even cancer.
Sarah uses green tea and honey to brew her kombucha, rather than the “normal” way of using black tea and sugar. Most kombucha is brewed with just fruit, while Sarah uses anything from turmeric to lavender to mushrooms -- any safe medicinal herbs that add harmony, nutrition, and flavor. Lunar Infusion’s tea is infused under the soft light of the moon and is charged with Reiki energy to ensure that it is the highest vibration kombucha available. The kombucha at Lunar Infusions is brewed with love, in small batches, and with very much care and attention.
