Fusion knows you have many options when it comes to teacher trainings and it can be difficult to choose just one. Fusion School of Yoga is an approved yoga school registered with Yoga Alliance. The Yoga Alliance provides a guideline for all registered schools consisting of so many hours dedicated to:Techniques, Training, and PracticeTeaching MethodologyAnatomy & PhysiologyYoga Philosophy, Lifestyle, & EthicsPracticumAdditionally, Yoga Alliance allows the school to choose where 20 hours are dedicated. Fusion Yoga has decided to spend these hours focused on anatomy. Each training will have a specialized professional in this topic to facilitate an in depth look at the anatomy of yoga during your training.Yoga Alliance requires 65 hours with a Lead Trainer (200 E-RYT). A lead trainer is defined, by Yoga Alliance, as someone who has been teaching for at least one year since receiving 200 hour RYT AND completed 1,000 hours of teaching since receiving RYT. Fusion Yoga Teacher Training has two Lead Trainers, Mary Newell and Celeste Sexton. 120 hours of Fusion Yoga’s Teacher Training is spent with a Lead Trainer. Experts in specific topics will act as faculty as well - we are fortunate at Fusion Yoga to have a wealth of knowledge and experience within in our own teachers and we utilize each teacher’s gift to enrich your learning experience.
Rounding out the 200 hours, Fusion Yoga has a required reading list that will be used during classes, as well as homework and evaluations.Teacher training doesn’t mean you have to teach yoga. Many people do teacher training to further their personal practice, to learn more about themselves and their body, or to aid in other areas of fitness development. Whatever your reason for interest, research your options and ask lots of questions. Feel free to send an e-mail to email@example.com
