All participants will receive a Certificate in Restorative Yoga. This module is eligible for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credits (for Registered Teachers who are not taking the complete 300 Hour program.)
Restorative Yoga is a deeply healing practice that helps us learn to relax and rest deeply and completely. It is proven that deep relaxation benefits all the systems of the body, including: improving immune function, digestion, elimination, and fertility, as well as reducing high blood pressure, stress, muscle tension and general fatigue. We will also experience Yoga Nidra and learn its principles. Yoga Nidra is an accessible meditation practice that focuses on cultivating multiple levels of well-being with a variety of techniques somewhat similar to guided meditation. It can be done as a complete practice on its own or as an adjunct to a Restorative Yoga class.
