Amanda Christensen

500 HR RTY

Amanda has been practicing yoga for nearly 12 years.  She first came to yoga to build strength and flexibility, but continued her journey after discovering the deeper, more subtle layers of yoga.

Amanda’s teaching is rooted in mindful movement, breathwork, and the connection between the body and nervous system. Her approach is therapeutic and somatic-based, with an emphasis on creating greater body awareness, ease, and connection.

Amanda completed her 200-hour teacher training with Pranayoga Institute in 2022 and continued her studies through a 300-hour Level 1 Yoga Therapy program at Pranayoga, ultimately completing 500 hours of yoga teacher training.

Her classes blend thoughtful sequencing, accessible movement, breath, and moments of stillness. Amanda hopes each student leaves her class feeling a little more balanced, grounded, and reconnected to themselves.

Outside of the studio, Amanda has worked in real estate for nearly 20 years and currently works as a Realtor in Fort Wayne. She also enjoys photography, spending time outdoors, and continuing to explore the ways yoga can support a more balanced and mindful life.
