Meg Heminger
200 E-RYT, YACEP, BarreAmped. Instructor and co-owner of Fusion Yoga
Meg went to her first yoga class as a senior in college in hopes that the centuries-old poses would aide in recovery for marathon training. She was instantly hooked. Meg found that yoga not only provided emphasis in creating space in her hips, hamstrings and lower body, but she also quickly came to learn how important the marriage of yoga and running was for her breathing, core strength and balance. After nearly fourteen years of a consistent yoga practice, Meg has taken to the model that even the best teachers are lifelong students and that in yoga there is always more to learn, more to give and more to share.
Meg has been in the fitness industry for over a decade. In 2006 she became spin certified, where she taught in New York. In 2014 Meg became a certified yoga instructor through a Baptiste Inspired program. She has combined her love of fitness and yoga and taken the flow of her hot power yoga classes to the next level. You can also find Meg teaching barre and yoga sculpt. A studio is the best kind of office!
Meg and her husband Marcus moved to Fort Wayne from New York City in 2014 and have four children. In her free time Meg loves to run, read, connect with friends and do all the “mom things!”
