Jen Coville

Jen found yoga through her passion for running, first as a way to increase her mobility and then to help with her recovery.  Her work as a surgical trauma ICU nurse showed her how deeply stress affects both the body and mind, and how powerful simple movement and breath can be.  She has a special place in her heart for athletes but believes yoga has something to offer everyone.

Off the mat Jen is an avid runner who has completed several marathons, one less than seven months after ACL reconstruction surgery and yoga played a key role in her recovery.  Jen is happiest outside in the sun - she lives on a small lake chain and can spend all day on the boat.  Each year Jen and her husband try to take their boat to Lake Michigan, her favorite place to be.  Jen loves taking her yoga practice onto the water with paddleboard yoga.

Jen's goal as a yoga instructor is to help guide people to move with ease and  find calm, inspired by years of running, caring for others as a nurse, and finding balance on her yoga mat. She believes that challenges can be met with strength, care, and calm.
