BA, E-200 RYT, 500 RYT (Prairie Yoga Institute)
Lindsey was introduced to yoga as a way to manage her anxiety. After her first class, her life was forever changed. Coming from a background in ballet, yoga started as a purposeful way to move that supported her way to self-wisdom, strength and freedom. In short time, yoga became more than movement; it defined her lifestyle, passion, and path to truth.
In 2010, Lindsey earned her 200 hr. certification. Concentrating in energetics and therapeutics (emotional, mental, and hormonal), she completed her 500 hr. in 2017. She is currently working on a 200 hr. certification through Inner Power Yoga to further her education and dedication to yoga philosophy, psychology and personal empowerment.
From a background in dance and Tantra, Lindsey’s classes focus on moving along the inner rhythm of the breath. It is through each unique breath that one connects to the inner-self and the greater world. Through asana, pranayama and meditation, Lindsey offers a balanced class that encourages strength, confidence, connection and grace. “My hope is for each student to leave my class feeling challenged, awakened, inspired and at peace.” Lindsey loves seeing each person recognize the greatness in themselves.
Beyond yoga, Lindsey finds her happiness in live music and concerts, the summer sun, reading and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
