Emily Croy | Thai Bodywork Pracitioner

Emily Croy is a nurturing and empathic Thai bodywork practitioner who specializes in the ancient and therapeutic art of Thai massage.Thai massage begins with the correlation between our energetic state of being & physical ailments, & has a focus on improving the flow of energy throughout the body. In this practice, Emily uses stretching, pulling, kneading, and rocking to therapeutically improve circulation & flexibility as well as promote deep relaxation. Anyone can benefit from Thai massage as it can relieve headaches, reduce back & chronic pain, relieve joint stiffness & pain, increase flexibility & range of motion, ease anxiety, & revive energy. Thai massage is received on a mat on the floor while the receiver is fully clothed.

Emily’s first job in this life is as a mother to her 2 children, and believes that her natural instinct to nurture makes her an excellent practitioner. She was inspired to begin practicing Thai massage in 2016, when she first received Thai bodywork from her teacher & discovered it’s healing elements first-hand. Emily studied as a student first, and then as an apprentice to her teacher while also earning RYT 200 as a yoga instructor. She now is part of a long lineage of healing Thai bodywork teachers & practitioners. Emily is in a constant state of learning and growing as a practitioner, and as a yogi in her personal practice.
