Kate got her first exposure to yoga through the classes offered at her workplace almost 10 years ago by current Fusion teachers Mary and Tina. She continued taking classes at a local studio as a way to get in shape for her wedding, and yoga turned into something she never stopped doing.
After throwing around the idea of teacher training for a few years but having it never feel like the right time, Kate started Fusion’s 200-hour program in the fall of 2018. The program gave Kate the skills and confidence to start teaching some classes in the summer of 2019.
Kate also works as an actuary, and she keeps herself busy spending time with her husband James (a recent yoga convert) and two young boys.
