Sherina Collier
200 hr RYT
Sherina fell in love with the ancient yogic way of life because it shared values with her cultural upbringing in Thailand and Venezuela; the appreciation for five minute downward dogs came later! After her father’s cancer diagnosis she began her journey towards becoming a teacher in order to help him. Her dad passed shortly after receiving her 200RYT, and alongside teaching she founded Beet Street Juicery to help others live a healthier life.
Sherina creates a space of rediscovery while practicing intelligently. Her classes follow her dad's motto, "Variety is the spice of life!” Her classes reflect this by switching it up with music, mixing in AromaYoga theory, practicing massage, or setting focused intentions.
You never know what’s going to happen when you step onto the mat. It's like stepping onto a plane--the journey is part of the fun and often, the most exciting part!
"Education is the most powerful weapon with which you can change the world."
"When we move through a physical practice, the mind and our emotional selves are free to roam and express themselves without conscious effort. And if we allow it to surface, that's when the yogic connection takes place between mind, body, spirit (who you are). That's when we make juice with life’s lemons!"
